I first found out that I was a fake
Attempting to have and eat my cake
It started out so innocently
A simple want: to be sailing free

This is why I am hypocrite

The left was white and the right was red
A zillion lights on the road ahead
What better time to start a foolish game
This stop 'n' go's driving me insane

There's two parts to this game
Criticize the car driven by that dame
She just cut you off, now it's your turn
Two wrongs make a right, that's how you learn

That is why I am hypocrite

A children's game but you gotta be
Sixteen or in Kentucky
You're up in arms then you're following suit
So far from helping you're at the root
